Working Pattern: Days (37 hours per week, typical hours are 07:30 - 15:40 or 08:10 - 16:20)

The Sustainability Integration Lead with be responsible to support implementation of the Sellafield Ltd’s engagement and integration plan across its business ecosystem. They will also be responsible to work collaboratively with teams from Sellafield Ltd’s directorates and act as the advocate and facilitator to support upskilling, knowledge development, and ways for individuals and teams to contribute to Sellafield Ltd’s sustainability goals.
The role would be well suited to a well-rounded professional that has a comprehensive understanding of global, national, and local sustainability matters, with a proven experience of supporting engagement and integration plans in a complex and multi-layered stakeholder organisation.

The role requires travelling within the UK, to support engagement and integration of sustainability across Sellafield Ltd’s business ecosystem (indicatively and non-exhaustive list include: supply chain events, sustainability events, conferences, etc).
Responsibilities include:
- Supports sustainability projects and initiatives across Sellafield Ltd, with a focus on engagement and integration.
- Facilitates the Sustainability engagement plan including supporting and organising meetings with business stakeholders.
- Engages with the Sellafield’s community to deliver internal sustainability initiatives to embed sustainability into the organization as per sustainability engagement and integration plan.
- Provides information and advice and communicates sustainable practices to the directorates’ teams as per engagement and integration plan, aiming to support upskilling, knowledge development, and ways for individuals and teams to contribute to Sellafield Ltd’s sustainability goals.
- Coordinates site audits as required, supporting the Head of Corporate Sustainability and the Sustainability analyst with the right level of information. This includes liaising with teams across the different directorates.
- Promotes Sellafield’s sustainability principles to its business ecosystem.
- Conducts other responsibilities aligned with the position level as assigned by the Sustainability Integration Manager and the Head of Corporate Sustainability.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience working in sustainability engagement and integration in large organisations or any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may qualify.
- Comprehensive understanding of current global, national, and local sustainability issues, with respect to the three pillars (socio-economic and environmental)
- Effective to well-developed interpersonal and oral communication skills, with demonstrated capacity to cooperate and communicate effectively with people at all levels, internal and external to Sellafield Ltd.
- Intermediate to advance capability in providing advice to individuals, teams, or the community on sustainability-related matters.
- Experience of working with diverse, multi-functional and international teams on sustainability issues.
- Demonstrable experience of involvement in the development and implementation of
engagement and integration of corporate sustainability plans.
- Demonstrable experience of change management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibits behaviour consistent with the mission, vision and values of Sellafield Ltd.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed with a proactive approach.
