**Hours**:Part time : 3 days per week or 5 hours x 4 days per week

**The role - primary responsibilities**

The primary purpose of the role is to co-ordinate sales, supply chain, assembly and dispatch to deliver the correct products on time to our clients. The majority of goods we import from Europe and Asia, and we export a large percentage of our products around the world. Liaising with shipping companies and understanding all the terms / complexities of import & export are essential to this role.

The Project and Delivery Coordinator is exposed to all aspects of the company and all members of the team on a daily basis. The role would suit an experienced project manager with some technical experience. There are excellent opportunities to develop into a more senior position.

As a relatively small company, teamwork, flexibility and the willingness to go the extra mile are fundamental to success. Curiosity and the ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of the products, processes and quality requirements of the company is critical.

The Project and Delivery Coordinator will also contribute to internal decision making and strategy.

**Project management**: Work with the sales team, supply chain and clients to plan projects so that they run successfully and on-time
- Plan purchasing/assembly/delivery together with other team members
- Monitor the progress of supply chain orders and internal assembly
- Monitor external contractors and deliveries
- Take charge of any problems and resolve them
- Regular contact with suppliers and subcontractors

**Business improvement**:lead improvements in efficiency, quality and operations
- Identify areas for internal improvement
- Analyse company performance in operations, production, assembly and despatch.
- Implement improvement projects and report on impact
- Experience with sage
- Experience with commercial invoicing
- 5 years experience in a similar role for a small company
