**Join our Customer Services team as a Allocations and Onboarding Manager**
Our Customer Services teams play a central role in achieving our vision. Our teams include our Customer Contact Centre and specialist teams like income collection, rent and service charges and resident management. **The role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of allocations and on boarding manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide a professional and customer orientated allocations, lettings and void service with due adherence to the allocations and regulatory framework, legislation, our nominations agreements, our corporate goals, the Tower Hamlets common housing registerand choice-based lettings.
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day workload and performance of the Lettings team, including direct line management of 5 officers.
- Ensuring our general needs stock is allocated efficiently, compliantly and within acceptable performance parameters including bulk lettings of new build stock.
- Liaise with local authorities, other Registered Providers and partner agencies to deliver the service and to achieve policy objectives and key performance indicators.
- To provide input in the formative stages of new development schemes to ensure requirements and preferences are known.
- General Management of the Allocations and Onboarding team through leading and encouraging active and constructive participation in team meetings, the review of existing policies and procedures and the preparation of guidance notes for the use of the team,setting team objectives, monitoring and reviewing staff performance undertaking regular supervisions, appraisals and reviews.

- Good team worker with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Several years’ experience within lettings, a proven track record of winning business and through knowledge of all aspects of the letting process.
- Previous work experience in the housing or estate management sector
- Experience of working in a customer service environment that deals directly with customers
- Knowledge of property law
