Baltic Apprenticeships are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Wigan, they are on the lookout for a passionate individual to join their team as an IT Apprentice Offering a salary ranging from £13,000-£14,500, this is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in the IT industry. Due to the nature of this role, you will need either a full UK driving license or be in the process of learning to drive.

As an apprentice you will be tasked with providing daily 1st line support to users, triage queries and issues raised over the phone and ticketing system, monitoring and investigating IT issues for clients and much more. You will be fully immersed in the exciting world of IT and given all the tools to build a successful career in the industry. Throughout your journey you will be supported by the in-house expert IT team as well as a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships to guide you on your journey

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

**A Typical Day in the Job**:

- Provide daily 1st line support to users
- Triage queries and issues raised over the phone and ticketing system
- Use connectwise ticketing system and remote management for remote access
- Monitoring and investigating IT issues for clients
- Carry out OS migrations and test them
- Install routers and switches for SME's

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:

- £13,000-£14,500 per annum
- Monday to Friday either 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Day off for you Birthday

**Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge**:

- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- A full UK driving license or if you are in the process of learning to drive
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work as part of team and independently
- Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths
