**About this role**

An exciting opportunity exists for a Contracts Supervisor to join our North Wales Branch for works around the region.

**Job Purpose/Background**:

- Supervise running of contracts on site so work is completed on time, to required quality and cost effectively.
- Ensure site staff are motivated and work productively.
- Ensure customer promises are delivered and relationships are developed.
- Plan, set up and visit sites to check production and controls.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the selection and formation of site personnel teams (inc. sub-contractors) as determined by the requirements of the designated site.
- Supervise site personnel, work activities and resources to meet the requirements of the designated site.
- Carry out specific trade duties as required.
- Control individual contract budgets.
- Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time.
- Supervise the site to ensure it complies with all H&S, Welfare, Legal and Statutory requirements.
- Ensure control measures within risk and COSHH assessments are implemented and followed.
- Ensure individual site absenteeism and labour turnover is managed and controlled / reduced.
- Ensure the learning and development of site personnel through regular appraisals and reviews.
- Maintain the trust and support of site personnel.
- Attend / control meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers when necessary.

**Knowledge / Experience**:

- Site planning skills to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Knowledge of industry H&S
- Good IT skills
- Communication and teamwork
- Customer engagement
- Judgement and decision making
- Employee development
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience managing labour-based activities (preferably within the construction industry) as a foreman.
- Good knowledge of the industry and a wide range of local contacts
