We are looking for a Colposcopy Co-ordinator to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Colposcopy Service as well as providing cover/support for colleagues within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Service.

The post-holder will receive, access, co-ordinate and book outpatient appointments for patients using knowledge of clinical specialties to ensure patients are booked into the correct appointment slot in accordance with NHS targets.
- The post holder will have overall responsibility to provide an efficient and effective administration of the colposcopy service and the failsafe process.
- Support the day-to-day efficient and effective operational management of the Colposcopy service report and report all matters affecting the Colposcopy service to the Patient Pathway Manager and Colposcopy Lead.
- Facilitate effective communication between and across service areas, ensuring that communication systems are in place to support the delivery of safe and effective care to patients
- Ensure that administration support for clinical services is delivered efficiently and effectively, working with the Specialty Manager and Colposcopy lead to overcome any issues or difficulties.
- The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Services, ensuring that all administrative aspects are performed efficiently, by providing a comprehensive and quality administration service to the designated departments and manage and prioritise their workload liaising closely with the leads for the screening services.
- The post holder will act as the liaison point for any enquiries, communicating with internal and external agencies to maximise the efficiency of the Services.
- The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that information relevant to the efficient running of the services are recorded on the relevant databases for audit and monitoring purposes.
