Coastline Cruises operates two traditional wooden pleasure boats in Weymouth. This is a seasonal role from April to end of September.

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Master Licence Holder to join our team. As a Boat Master Licence Holder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining boats, ensuring the safety of passengers, and adhering to all maritime regulations.

**Duties**:

- Operate boats and navigate waterways safely and efficiently
- Ensure the safety of passengers and crew members at all times
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the boat
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any issues or repairs needed
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about the boat, safety procedures, and local points of interest
- Adhere to all maritime regulations and guidelines
- Assist with docking and undocking procedures
- Respond to emergencies or incidents on board, following established protocols

**Skills**
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Valid Boat Master Licence
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent navigational skills
- Ability to operate boats of various sizes and types
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
