Tradewind are currently seeking a SEN teacher to work in a SEN school in Warrington, to work with Key stage 1 and 2 children with autism and challenging behaviour. The School has 84 places for children aged 4 to 19 years, with severe learning difficulties,autistic spectrum disorder, profound and multiple learning difficulties and associated medical and physical difficulties.

The role is to start immediately and is a long term role.

As a SEN teacher in our school, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the individual needs of the students. You will work closely with our dedicated team of support staff to createa safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes positive behaviour, social and emotional development, and academic progress.

You will have the opportunity to use your expertise to develop and implement individualised education plans that cater to the specific learning needs of each student, while ensuring that they are challenged and supported in equal measure. You will also beresponsible for assessing and reporting on student progress, liaising with parents and carers, and working collaboratively with other professionals to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to education.

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of working with children with special educational needs and be committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences. You will be patient, creative and have a passion forworking with children, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

To be considered for this position you will:

- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
- have satisfactory references
- have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
