Trip Boat Skipper

**We are a successful tour company looking for enthusiastic, committed and friendly skipper to join our team for what we expect to be a very busy summer.**

**We require a qualified skipper with a valid licence for our very busy small passenger and events boat which operates under the Inland Waterway Small Passenger Boat Code.**

**Your role will involve the start of the day checks, preparation and end of day clean down. You will be responsible for the management of boat during the day, including with the assistance of a staff member, the delivery of tours and parties, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of guests.**

**The boat has a very busy schedule and you should have experience in a hospitality and/or visitor environment, be a proven skipper with excellent people skills.**

**You will share the skippering of the trip boat with the Lead Skipper/Director.**

**We can be flexible in what we are offering in days and hours. Tours will run from May to October.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

**Experience**:

- hospitality or tourist sector: 1 year (preferred)
- passenger boat: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Skipper Licence under the Small Boat Passenger Code (required)
