Job Title: Support Worker (Agency)

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our agency, providing essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings. As an agency Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of clients, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Client Support**:

- Provide hands-on support to clients in their daily activities, including personal care, mobility assistance, and emotional support.
- Foster a positive and empowering environment for clients, promoting independence and dignity.
- **Care Planning**:

- Work closely with the care team to understand and implement individualized care plans.
- Regularly communicate with supervisors and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and needs.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, care provided, and any changes in health or behavior.
- Ensure timely and thorough completion of required documentation.
- **Communication**:

- Establish clear and effective communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Report any concerns or observations promptly to the relevant parties.
- **Adaptability**:

- Work flexibly across various settings and with diverse client populations.
- Adapt to different care environments and respond effectively to the changing needs of clients.
- **Safety and Well-being**:

- Prioritize and uphold the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Follow established protocols for infection control, health, and safety.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in care.
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings.
- **Agency Collaboration**:

- Collaborate effectively with other agency workers, healthcare professionals, and support staff.
- Contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Support Worker or similar role.
- Relevant certifications in health and social care.
- Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and care environments.

Working Conditions:

- Variable shifts based on client needs.
- Travel to different locations within the assigned area.
- Physical demands may include lifting and assisting clients with mobility.
