**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced General Builder to join our team for an exciting residential conversion project. This project involves the conversion of an existing school building into 8 dwellings, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a transformation that creates comfortable and modern living spaces for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installing new concrete and steel lintels
- Removing walls to create desired layouts
- Propping structures while new lintels are installed
- Making good brickwork on the exterior to enhance aesthetics and durability
- Installing new blockwork dividing walls internally to define living spaces
- Collaborating with other tradesmen and contractors to ensure project milestones are met
- Adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in residential construction projects, with a focus on conversions and renovations
- Expertise in installing concrete and steel lintels, wall removal, and brickwork
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction/building trades

Additional Information:

- Project duration: Approximately 4 months
- While we ideally seek both a tradesman and a labourer, we can provide a labourer if needed

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Driving Licence (required)
