REED Accountancy are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic German speaking accounts payable clerk to join their established client in Evesham.
The role is full time and permanent, with study support offered if required. The role offers 3 days WFH and flexible working outside of core hours.

Those without finance experience will be considered, as long as the language and strong administration skills can be shown.
**The main function of the role is to oversee the European role of Accounts Payable with focus on the European Purchase Ledgers.**

**Person Specification**:

- German language - written and oral
- Good/ Advanced level of Excel
- Able to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Well organised, proactive and process driven
- Good communication skills

**Main Duties**:

- To process daily Cashbooks and Journals in multiple currencies
- Processing of Invoices, Credit Notes and matching Purchase Orders across multiple ledgers covering stock and overhead expenses, using Navision and Document Capture software
- Preparation of weekly Payment Runs across multiple ledgers, raising SEPA bank transfer payments via online banking
- Raising and posting of General Journals
- Processing of staff expenses and company credit card statements
- Preparation of monthly Creditor Reconciliations
- Intercompany monthly allocations
- Raising intercompany invoices, payments and journals
- Liaising with European Consultants to grow knowledge, gain understanding of process and drive through improvement
- Resolving Invoice Queries in a timely manner
- Providing support and cover to the UK Accounts Payable team as required
