We have a vacancy for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at **Brooklands Healthcare, Magherafelt.**

If you are already experienced in caring for others and leading shifts to ensure Residents are provided with choice, dignity and an environment where they are treated as an individual; you could have what it takes to become our Senior Care Assistant

**About The Role**

**Your New Role**:

- Providing leadership and support for the Care Team, acting as a role model for good practice in relation to all aspects of Residents dignity and safety.
- Assisting our Residents in all aspects of their daily life, personal care, meal preparation and general domestic support.
- Ensuring clear and accurate records and communicating systems relating to clinical / care delivery are properly maintained.
- Making a real difference to our Residents lives.

**About You**:

- Flexible in their approach and great at building a rapport with everyone they deal with.
- They inspire professionalism and cope with difficult situations using tact and taking responsibility.
- The enjoy working with people and sharing information / ideas, that’s how they raise standards.

If you have these attributes and can naturally strike up a conversation and engage with all types of people, this is the job for you

Experience as a Senior Carer is preferred but not essential as full induction / structured training is provided.
