Yard Operative

Trueform are a leading designer and manufacturer of street furniture, signage, smart city street furniture and electronic digital signage. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Trueform team.

Based at the company’s manufacturing & technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex, the post holder will be required to support the company’s waste management operation, dismantling and segregating street furniture, and undertaking general labouring work.

- Dismantling / breaking down redundant street furniture and various parts that have been returned to the yard.
- Separating and recycling various materials, such as metal, polycarbonate, glass and electronic components.
- Keeping the yard clean and tidy throughout the working day.
- Assisting in with the safe loading & unloading of Company vehicles
- Unloading supplier deliveries
- Carrying out detailed weekly and monthly stock checks
- Perform other ad-hoc duties or provide cover for colleagues as directed by line manager

**Qualifications / Skills**
- Ability to use hand tools; drills, saws etc.
- Experience within a busy yard environment
- Good appreciation of Health & Safety
- Good communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment as well as on own initiative

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.05 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
