Job Role: Forklift Truck Driver

Pay Rates

£10.50 per hour

Working patterns

Split shift 06:00-10:00 & 14:00-20:00 (Monday - Friday) with additional overtime available and some Saturdays.

Contracts

Permanent.

Forklift Truck Driver Duties

A warehouse forklift truck driving role provides a varied work day that includes:

- Moving delivered products from vehicles into the warehouse.
- Organising pallets of products into priority order in the warehouse.
- Using counter balance forklift trucks, pallet wrapping machine, printing devices, labelling and managing inventory.

In this role you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.

This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. The fast paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency with so many pallets being processed in the line of duty.

Even when using machinery to help can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting.

Skills and attributes needed as a Forklift Driver
- Counterbalance Forklift Qualification (Newly Qualified accepted)
- Good organisational skills
- Reliability and dependability
- Literacy & numeracy
- Self-motivated
- Upbeat and energised
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
