Prudential Policy Directorate are responsible for designing, negotiating internationally and implementing effective prudential regulation in order to remove or reduce systemic risks, promote the safety and soundness of PRA-regulated firms and ensure appropriate protection for insurance policyholders. PPD supports both the Prudential Regulation Committee and Financial Policy Committee in fulfilling their objectives.

**Department Overview**

The Strategy and Policy Approach Division (SPAD) is one of five divisions in PPD.

SPAD sets the overall strategy and approach for prudential policymaking in line with our vision for accountable, dynamic and accessible regulation. The division also supports PPD on the identification, selection and delivery of policy priorities, as well as PPD’s broader international strategy and co-ordination.

**Job description**

Sitting in the PPD Projects and Business Strategy team, we are looking for a Project Management Support Officer to support delivery of high-profile policy projects across PPD. The person will report to other Project Managers in the team who will be able to provide support and career development opportunities. There is also an opportunity to pursue formal project management training.

Current PPD projects include developing a strong and simple prudential framework for non-systemic banks and building societies, a review of the Solvency II framework for insurers, and a wide-scale review of the data we receive from banks.

Responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring, reporting and analysis of project progress against project plan.
- Coordinating reviews of issues, risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
- Support Project Managers in preparing and updating project documentation such as project timelines, risk logs and dependencies.
- Ensure project documentation is stored appropriately for future access.
- Act as the first point of contact for information on project management within the Directorate, including sharing project management tools and instructions.
- Manages meeting schedules, ensures critical stakeholders in attendance, produces and distributes relevant material, provides status reports. Follows up on actions after meetings taken place. Provides secretariat function at meetings.
- There will be opportunity to undertake special assignments to aid growth and development.

- Experience of providing support to a project, or significant piece of work.
- Experience of developing effective stakeholder relationships.

**Salary and Benefits Information**

This specific role offers a base salary of circa **£28,810 - £34,110 per annum (depending on skills and experience)** on a full-time basis. We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as a
