Truffle Hunting is currently recruiting for a passionate and ambitious Waiting and Bar Staff for a new 70 cover All Day Bistro & Wine Bar in the Wokingham.

A menu focusing on small plates and a robata grill from 10am to 10pm. Wine List focusing on Sustainable, Natural, Organic & Biodynamic. Somewhere not dissimilar to Noble Rot & FallowOpening May 2024

The aim is to provide great value in a friendly, laid-back environment with focus on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to provide delicious modern British dishes that are full of flavour.

The Bistro will have a smart interior combining with a comforting feel, lovely, attentive but considered service. Not fussy, but fun.

Aiming for 2 AA Rosettes or a Bib Gourmand. There will be recognisable classics, well made and simply presented with light and bright fresh flavours, rich but refined.

As a team member you hold a significant role within the Fare team, typically reporting to Supervisor or Assistant Manager. If you would enjoy being part of a strong independent company with a passion for great food, then this is the right opportunity for you

**Role Responsibility**
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about the menu.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary needs are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Set up tables, refill water glasses, and clear dishes in a timely manner to ensure a clean and organized dining area.
- Have a good understanding of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers with their selections.
- Suggest additional items such as snacks, desserts, or drinks to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Handle payments, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, and process them accurately through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the dining area, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and keeping serving stations organized.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management if necessary
