**THE COMPANY**
A leader in their sector with an excellent industry reputation. They are looking for a QHSE Advisor to come into the business and support their QHSE Manager, you will be joining the business at an interesting time where new policies and processes and beingcreated and a new digital QMS is being introduced.
**THE ROLE**
- Responsible for assisting with the implementation of QHSE policies and procedures, training and systems ensuring all company responsibilities are met
- Assisting with internal, customer, and regulatory audits and contributing towards ensuring corrective actions are undertaken
- Management of site pest control and hygiene
- Management of equipment calibration for quality checks
- H&S lead. Contributing towards ensuring that safety inspections are carried out, risk assessments and other procedures are managed, and all staff are aware of their responsibilities
- Ensuring risk assessments are completed and regularly reviewed for all work equipment, operations, contractors, and that fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported
- Ensuring all accidents are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements are implemented
- Assist the Manager and Learning and Development team in developing in-house training courses as they launch an eLearning platform across the business
- Support the Manager in moving the business from a paper based QMS to a digital platform and contributing towards process improvement
- Prepare and present reports
**ABOUT YOU**
You will need to have experience of taking part in BRC audits and have experience as a trained internal auditor. Desirable, but not essential, is a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
