**About the role**:
We are looking for an investment Operations associate to join a dynamic and fast moving team within the Monument Re Group.
This role will be supporting the Operational Oversight function who are responsible for co-ordinating the investment function’s approach to and monitoring of transactions, projects, third party investment managers and other outsourced providers.
This individual will be a motivated self-starter who is very organized and practical in their approach to work and problem solving and will be involved in a number of important investment areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining investment timetables ;
- Maintaining management actions plans and progress toward completion
- Producing Investment manager schedules documenting fees, agreements, SLA’s and ensuring compliance with expected performance
- Collation of investment materials for quarterly reviews and input into Management Information systems
- Organising manager meetings, risk reviews, operational due diligence
- Maintaining outsource provider contacts databases
- Help production of meeting notes
- Collection and submission of key documents/KYC/legal agreements ISAE controls reports etc

**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Document and maintain process and control procedures for operations workflow
- Work with external service providers to solve investment issues
- Assist with ad hoc queries from management, auditors, regulators, and tax authorities
- Assist with ceding company onboarding requests

**Role Requirements**:

- Previous experience in operations, project management or accounting in insurance company, asset/fund management or Banking environment would be an advantage;
- Good working knowledge of investments;
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision;
- Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; and
- The role would suit someone keen to work in an investments environment with support for continuing professional qualifications (CFA, CIMA, ACCA etc) supported.
- Required: high degree of MS Project (or equivalent), and Excel experience/capability.
- Previous experience of Bloomberg, BlackRock and other investment systems preferred;
