**About the role**

We are looking to recruit four live in care professionals to work as a double on a two week on, two week off rota, to provide care for a gentleman living in Worthing.

Our client has diagnosed Motor Neurone Disease and Frontotemporal Dementia. Our client requires a high level of support to help him remain living safely in his home, this includes support with personal care, moving and handling, eating and drinking and communication.

During the placement you will live in our clients home for two weeks at a time, with another Care Professional and you will work closely alongside each other as a double-up.

Following a person-centred care plan, you will tailor your support to meet our clients’ needs.

**Your role will include**:

- You’ll be matched with our client based on your skills and you client’s needs, providing tailored support and companionship
- Following our client’s individual care plan, you will generally provide a daily average of 10 hours care provision to your client
- Moving and handling
- Personal care
- Medication support
- Food and nutrition support
- Cooking, cleaning and ensuring the smooth running of the client’s home

**You will be rewarded with these fantastic benefits**:

We will provide comprehensive training and on-going support.

**We’re looking for**:

- Professional experience with complex care needs
- Professional care experience gained in ANY care setting, such as live-in carer, domiciliary carer, care assistant, support worker, healthcare assistant or similar.
- You must be able to provide us with proof of your right to work in the UK.
- A driver’s licence and a car is an advantage but not a requirement.

**You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.**

Additional information

As a Live-in Care Professional, you will cook three freshly prepared meals a day and dine with your client. You will have your own bedroom, access to a TV and WiFi.
