**Responsibilities**:
Designing and Building the Swish Network is the next main focus of the business as we aim to meet our ambitious role out plan, and it is time to recruit a Cabling/Test Rod & Rope engineerto support the next stage of our growth. The Cabling/Test Rod & Rope engineers main responsibility will be to test rod and rope, installation of cables, sub duct both underground and overhead.
- Test Rod & Roping
- Proving the PIA network
- Pull in sub duct & cable in PIA & Swish networks UG & O/H
- locating blockages & updating required systems with box to box
- Producing A55s
**Requirements**:
- Experience of Test Rod & Roping / cabling the Openreach network
- PIA network experience
- Installation of cables, sub duct UG & OH
- Installation of fibre nodes UG & OH
- Locate blockages and establish clear routes
- Produce A55’s in consultation with the main Surveyor
- Completion and submission of all necessary documentation
- Compliance with all Health, Safety, Quality Control & Environmental policies
- Civils avoidance experience
- MEWP licence would be desirable
- Full Driving License that permits you to drive a vehicle in the UK
- Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative unit 2 card
- Confident at working at heights and underground network.
