Dispensary Assistant

Due to an expansion of our business we have an exciting opportunity at Westfield Walk Pharmacy for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team as a Dispensary Assistant. You will need to have an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services.

Your work pattern will be: Monday 9-6pm, Tuesday 9-7pm, Friday 9-6pm and saturday 9-12pm.

You will need to have 5 GCSE's at grade A-C (or equivalent) and be computer literate. You will need to enjoy customer interaction and be organised and meticulous in your approach to work. We are a friendly group of people and are used to working under busy conditions.

Your duties will include: serving patients, locating dispensed items, stock control, dispensing prescription medicines, answering the telephone, offering additional pharmacy services like blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring and ensuring the dispensary is kept clean at all times. You will be directly answerable to the Pharmacist.
