Join us We have a new opening for a **Tender and Contracts Assistant** (ideally based in the south to travel to HQ in Compton for training/meetings/flexibility to WFH) to join our team.

**As a Tender and Contracts Assistant, you will**:
Responsibility for the coordination and management of bid responses and submission of all Tenders and Request for Proposals (including framework offerings) for Baxter Healthcare and Hill-Rom, including the checking of T&Cs in tenders
- Support in the development and maintenance of the Tender Library
- Administration and management of all Framework activities, including pricing
- Supports the implementation and development of tender and contract tools and templates
- Delivers continuous improvement of all tools and processes relating to tender management and processes
- Offer contract management and pricing insights to Baxter and Hill-Rom Business Units about existing contracts and associated customer usage.
- Ad hoc project and Team support as required
- Checking OJEC notices for Tender opportunities

**What are we looking for?**
- Flexibility is required during frequent busy periods
- Deadline driven
- Comfortable with leading multiple deadlines and changing priorities
- Loves working as part of a team and competent on their own
- Experience in a similar Tender Management role
- NHS Procurement processes knowledge desirable
- Experience in tender management within the medical arena will be an advantage.
- Basic Contract / Procurement Law knowledge would be an advantage
- A can-do demeanor and willingness to learn/develop
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and strong writing/bid text authoring skills
- Very capable of using Microsoft Excel and handling large volumes of data
- Highly organized
- Articulate and numerical
