iO Associates have partnered with a leading Food Manufacturer based in Liverpool in the search for a QA Advisor to join their team. This position is a 12-month FTC.

You will play an essential role in providing the site with Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Pest Control advice and support whilst implementing the company's Food Safety Policies and procedures. You will also be managing the Quality and Food Safety Systems and internal audit programmes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collecting startup samples for micro testing, assisting the SQSE team in collecting routine micro samples.
- Collecting retained SQSE samples of finished products.
- Creating metal and weight test packs for production lines, ensuring adherence to the renewal schedule.
- Validating SQSE metal detectors and SQSE bench scales according to the defined schedule.
- Managing all incoming and outgoing mail for the SQSE department, including the collection of the complaints box from the post room and processing UPS mail.
- Providing support to the SQSE team during site audits as needed.

**You will need**:

- Strong IT skills.
- Eye for detail.
- Positive ‘can do’ demeanour.
- Experience within a manufacturing or admin role is desirable, but not essential.
- Track record of working as part of a team.

In return for this, you will receive a salary of up to £36,000 alongside benefits such as a 10% bonus and single cover medical.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to £36,000.00 per year
