**CARE WORKERS**

**Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week.**

**We are seeking energetic, care-centred individuals to join our team.**
- Genuine interest in working with in the care sector.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Supervising and supporting a team of committed care assistants to provide the highest quality of care to our residents
- Team player with Good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experience in administering medication and maintaining clear and accurate records on E-MAR system
- Willingness to participate in vocational Training Programme. We are able to offer training for the role and career development opportunities.

**You’re Role**:
To work with Adults in a caring and nurturing manner developing relationships based on trust, confidence and understanding.

To work as “part of a team” and provide support and encouragement for colleagues as well as our residents and help build a strong care-focused team.

To work from your own initiative, in line with all: risk assessments, care plans.

Review Care plans / risk assessments, update them accordingly in line with procedures

To Safely administer medication to residents and log and document accurately

To help Residents to maintain areas of their independent Living/life choices where possible.

To assist residents with personal care identified needs, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting.

Assist residents who need help during meal times, helping with serving of food, drinks as requested/required and wash up as requested/required.

Observe, monitor and record resident’s physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to senior staff.

To help support all current and new residents to feel welcome and validated as important members of our home.

- Enrolment on level 3 and 5 diploma for Adult social care.

**Salary**: £11.25 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ca6 4jG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
