Marketing Team Leader

Kwikpac Ltd was founded in 1993 to meet the growing needs of the UK packaging industry. We pride ourselves on our innovative packaging products that deliver on quality and price, and which meet the needs of our customers, across many diverse industries.
Working within a small and busy marketing function, you will work with the Marketing Director, wider marketing team, and our Sales Team to lead, plan, create, implement, and measure marketing activities across the whole company. This means you will be contributing to and managing new strategies, developing core marketing messages, planning all marketing activities, managing copy and content, managing website updates, overseeing social media activity and our buying guide (blog), and monitoring/tracking the success of each campaign.
We are a small and friendly team who work together to make the dream work. Due to the need to work closely with the team, this role will predominantly be office based.
As a Marketing Team Leader, your duties will include though will not be limited to:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to design marketing strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives, target audiences and budget.
- Planning and coordinating marketing campaigns.
- Organising and leading the marketing team.
- Developing and maintaining the marketing budget and track expenditure.
- Evaluating and analysing campaigns using metrics and analytics, provide performance reports.
- Staying abreast of the evolving digital landscape to be able to advise on the most effective use of digital and social media platforms.
- Managing website content updates.
- Competitor and market analysis.
- Overseeing creation, editing, and uploading of engaging content across numerous channels including video production, buying guides (blogs), website and social media.
- Managing updates of our existing website and sales brochures.
- Press releases and liaising with press.
- Proactive and on-going training, ensuring you are developing your skills.
- Overseeing creation of graphics for the website, social media, online ads, and printed ads.
- Managing blogs, web content and copywriting.
- Leading discussion regarding new campaign ideas with the team and assisting them through to creation.
- Offering instruction, advice, and marketing support to Sales Team members when necessary.
- Working with our marketing agency to provide feedback on SEO and PPC analytics and other marketing activity.
- Being up to date on full packaging range and key products.
- Tracking and reporting Google Analytics and Google Ads metrics.
- Overseeing production of PDFs and other sales materials.
- Assisting with other administrative tasks when required.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have professional qualifications in Marketing, Business or Communications.
- Have a proven history of implementing and executing marketing strategy successfully.
- Have at least 2 years’ Digital Marketing experience, with a good understanding of sales and digital marketing techniques, such as social media marketing, PPC and SEO.
- Have previous experience writing and editing within a professional environment.
- Be able to multi-task.
- Have excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Have a pro-active attitude and be able to work on own initiative.
- Be a team player.
- Be creative, with strong communication skills & great attention to detail.
- Have knowledge of social media advertising tools.
- Have experience using Adobe Photoshop, or other graphic design software.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Have experience using CMS systems.
- Be eager to learn and develop with the role.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Be trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
