**Payroll Administrator Position Summary**

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be to manage the weekly payroll entry and submissions for a team of some 200+ agency workers within our team. This will include the management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time. It is fast-paced with a high weekly workload and involves a lot of work on computer systems, so you will need to be able to work quickly but with a high attention to detail.

**Payroll Administrator Responsibilities**
- Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters
- Reviewing timesheets and entering them accurately
- Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, and deductions
- Preparing and issuing earnings statements
- Issuing payslips and managing direct deposits
- Maintaining employee records
- Dealing with, and resolving, employee issues over the phone
- Liaising with HMRC and other government agencies where necessary
- Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data
- Providing administrative assistance to the accounting department

**Person Specification**
- Experience of using payroll systems and processes
- Excellent IT skills
- The ability to work quickly across multiple programs and systems
- A systematic approach and ability to follow clearly outlined processes
- An ability to investigate and resolve technical issues that may cause payroll errors
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
- Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Desire to embrace new technology and ways of working to improve and streamline payroll processes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
