Logistics Coordinator required. Streamline Search are currently working with a global Wholesaler seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a dynamic and growing team. It is anticipated the Logistics Coordinator will be based within a commutable distance of Greenford with previous experience within shipping or export operations.

Responsibilities include planning shipments based on customer requests bearing in mind the most appropriate route for a shipment; taking into account the nature of the goods, cost, transit time and safety as well as supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating collections and deliveries to managing shipping procedures and documentation.

**Logistics / Shipping Coordinator - Position Overview**
- Assisting in facilities management and overseeing the levels of warehouse and office stock thus placing orders as and when needed
- Booking of the necessary freight cargo space on an aircraft or ship
- Carrying out customer services and/or warehouse duties on behalf of
- customers and/or suppliers including the creating and dispatching of all the relevant Customs declarations
- Carrying out general administrative and warehouse tasks as and when required including checking for customers payments and liaising with warehouse and office staff
- Dealing with customer and supplier complaints including any damages or losses
- Dealing with warehouse reports regarding the status of customers’ goods
- Ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse operations including the storing, labelling, packing and shipping of customers’ goods
- Inputting, updating and maintaining customer records
- Liaising with drivers to ensure the smooth running of collections and deliveries of customers’ goods and office supplies
- Preparing shipping documents (like House Airwaybills, Master Airwaybills, Bills of Lading, Customer Invoices, Manifests etc)
- Providing information to customers - before and after their goods are shipped out - including details regarding the status of their shipments
- Tracking shipments and coordinating with Agents to maximise the time and quality of deliveries

**Logistics / Shipping Coordinator - Position Requirements**
- Previous experience in a Logistics / Shipping role
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Able to work well under pressure
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken
- Living within a commutable distance of Greenford.

**Logistics / Shipping Coordinator - Position Remuneration**
- Salary £22,000 - £25,000 (Dependent on experience)
- Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
- Pension scheme
- Parking on site
