**Assist Services Group** are looking to recruit security professionals with excellent customer service and experience working within a corporate environment in **St Albans (AL1)**

**The main function of the role**:The Front-of-House Security Officer/Receptionist plays a crucial role in this customer focused environment, you will also perform some security duties, ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, visitors, and the premises.

Responsible for maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere, this position involves greeting and assisting guests, managing access control, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting security checks, and responding promptly to any security concerns or emergencies. The role demands a strong focus on customer service while upholding security protocols and providing a visible and reassuring presence at the front entrance. The Front-of-House Security Officer serves as the first point of contact, contributing to a professional and secure environment in a corporate setting.

**Salary**:
£15.00

**Shift Pattern / Times**:
Monday to Friday
08:00 - 20:00

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Valid SIA Security Guarding licence.
- Valid DBS.
- 1 years’ experience working within security, front of house, or customer focused role
- Experience working within corporate environments.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- 5-year employment / educational history.

**Preferred Requirements (not essential)**:

- Emergency First Aid Certificate.
- ACT training Certificate.
- Be able to use two-way radios.
- Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel,Word,Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional & Personable.
- Immaculate presentation

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Reporting and supporting the security management team. Able to follow instructions
- Conduct regular patrols.
- Managing queues and entrances to the building.
- Answering the call and enquiries and managing the switchboard.
- Check all ID cards and issue ID cards for visitors and guests to the building.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for the public, staff, and contractors.
- Visible, proactive, and vigilant security presence.
- Ability to work alone and under pressure.
- Ensure that all matters relating to the process of information are carried out in a prompt, efficient manner in line with service and legal requirements. Write detailed reports of activities and incidences that could occur on-site and be willing to speak to the police if required.

**As a member of the security team, you will be required to be compliant inline with the BS7858 vetting standards.
