**Location - **23 Trittiford Road, Yardley Wood, B13 0ES

**Hourly rate - **£10.82

**Contract type - **Permanent

**Working hours - **Part time - 28 hours

Shifts 7.30am - 3pm / 2.30pm - 10pm

**About the Service**

Set in spacious, attractive grounds but with local shops and amenities close by, 23 Trittiford provides care and support for up to six adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

**In your new role as Support Worker, you will**:

- Build relationships with Residents, which are open and two way
- Support Residents to undertake their daily routines
- Establish methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers when necessary
- Accurately report and/or record work activities
- Support with activities of daily living & personal care
- Assist residents with mealtimes where necessary.

**As Support Worker, you will ideally have**:

- Experience working within a Care environment (Advantageous but not essential as full induction training will be given)
- A warm hearted, friendly manner, patience, kindness and good communication, a willingness to help others, requiring patience
- An open and honest character, respectful and celebrate diversity, connect with colleagues and residents to celebrate uniqueness
- The ability to be a natural care giver and someone who can communicate in an open and honest manner with your colleagues, residents and their visitors
