Please note this is a Part Time role working 22 Hours a week. Working hours are to be confirmed but will be between the hours of 7am - 5pm

A prosperous manufacturer, one of Flintshire's largest employers requires someone to join their team as a Payroll Officer on a part-time basis. If you have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills with experiencein Payroll Administration we want to hear from you.

Some roles will require manual calculation of hours, being confident with numbers and comfotable with maths would be a huge advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- The Payroll Officer will be responsible for liaising with HR to process information on various payroll systems regarding starters, leavers, weekly timesheet hours, overtime, bonus, pension, SSP, SMP, completion of P45 and P46 information, payments, anddeductions.
- Updating systems with relevant information and ensure accuracy of data daily for lunar and monthly Payrolls,

Assist with the month end process, including accruals and collection of Journal information, and to provide other monthly reporting and analysis as needed, such as for headcount reporting.

Reconcile and review average holiday pay calculations historically and on on-going basis.

Maintaining reports for Pensions, (joiners, leavers, changes, and payment files) on a monthly basis.

Liaising and assisting finance with reconciliation of data where required and general office admin.

**Experience**:
It is essential you have Previous Payroll experience, ideally with experience of manual time sheet calculation in a manufacturing environment.

- Previous experience of Payroll software
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask workload
- A keen eye for detail
- Enjoy working within a team but autonomy to work alone
- Must be able to work on own initiative in small working environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 3 months

Part-time hours: 22 per week

**Salary**: £15,000.00 per year
