**Job summary**:
The post holder will provide the Department and its clients with a high quality and efficient service for our Drainage Section. Carrying out works to the Islands Drainage System including assisting with traffic management, excavations at different depths of trenches and shafts, sheet piling and timbering works, placing and installing pipework. Skills needed include operating specialist excavation equipment, assisting in CCTV surveys/drainage investigations and confined space work in the island’s pumping stations and sewer network.

LGV license would be an advantage to the post as the applicant might be required to drive specialist vehicles including Hiabs and pickups.
