**Job Role**: Maintenance Supervisor

**Basic Salary**:£48 000 Per Year (Plus Bonus of £3200 Per Year)

**Location**:Birstall, West Yorkshire

**Shift Pattern**: Days / Mon-Fri (Early finish on Friday) / 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm (Flexible / You Choose)

**The Role**

**The Responsibilities**
- Support the team to identify work that should be done by outside contractors by assessing the skills needed and the time required to perform the tasks
- Point of contact for planned and repair work of all utilities (water, compressed air, electrical and gas)
- Ensure statutory inspections are carried out to the required and timely standards as stated by UK legislation.
- Obtain quotations and raise purchase order documentation needed to bring contractors on-site to perform reactive or planned maintenance work
- Provide support and direction to the shift technicians and engineers
- Supervise contractors and ensure they are working safely in accordance with site safety policies
- Perform risk assessments and plan safe methods of work
- Support with planned or reactive maintenance on plant equipment as required to optimize machine uptime
- Assist the team during equipment breakdowns
- Lead or participate in breakdown analysis / root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures
- Support the team to plan future maintenance activities
- Promote improvements in maintenance practices and systems of work
- Lead or participate in improvement projects
- Create standard documentation for PMs, SOPs and other systems as required
