**Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7am - 3pm, plus occasional overtime/weekend working**

**JOB PURPOSE**

To provide a high standard of graffiti removal and related maintenance duties in a safe and controlled environment as directed by the Contract Manager on the Hampshire contracts and sites or other locations as directed.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

To carry out the following duties in accordance with the contract specifications or as directed by the Contracts Manager:

- Remove graffiti using specialist pressure washing equipment, specialist graffiti removal chemicals or by painting over; undertaking all duties with due regards to Health & Safety legislation and Company policy and procedures.
- Carry out deep cleaning to pre-determined highway structures to a good standard and in accordance with the specification.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks prior to use and complete vehicle check sheets.
- To assist the work partner with interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles.
- To act as ‘banks man’ for reversing requirements of the vehicle and the Driver.
- Ensure that the Graffiti Solutions personal protective equipment is worn and used at all times during work hours and maintained in a clean condition.
- Daily check of all equipment and ensure adequate supplies on board the vehicle.
- Assemble equipment as necessary and check, clean and store machinery safely after use and report any defects to the Contracts Manager.
- Report any accident, incident or unusual occurrence, obtaining names and addresses of any witness, members of staff or public involved, relaying to the Contract Manager in accordance with Company procedures.
- Attend staff meetings and training courses as directed by the Contract Manager.
- Provide cover for short term absences of colleagues or at weekends.
- To promote and comply with Graffiti Solutions policies and procedures.
- To respond to environmental emergencies, eg snow clearing, grit laying and spillage clearing.

General administration relating to:

- Accurate completion of daily work report sheets, with the use of digital photography as evidence of work completed.

**The Graffiti Removal Operative may also carry out such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.**
