**About**

Cornish Seaview Cottages are a small, friendly company based in Hampshire with 20 years’ experience managing and marketing holiday properties in Cornwall. Over the years we have gradually grown the company to manage over 25 carefully selected properties with the view to expanding the portfolio further.

An opportunity has arisen for a positive, dedicated and friendly person who is proactive and hard working to join our enthusiastic and supportive team. The purpose of the role is to oversee all our Caretakers and ensure all our properties are properly managed in respect of cleanliness, maintenance and health and safety.

**Location**

You’ll be based in Cornwall, and you will need to hold a full driving licence and be comfortable traveling regularly, and at times out of area to fulfil this role.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supervision of all Caretakers, providing training, support and guidance as and when required.
- To carry out routine inspections to monitor quality of cleaning and maintenance by carrying out spot checks on all properties.
- Ad hoc spot checks / property visits.
- Recruitment and induction of all Caretakers as and when required, noting areas of potential recruitment working alongside the Office Manager.
- Reporting of any maintenance issues to relevant contractors and the office
- Meet with existing CSVC owners as and when required.
- On-call for customer queries, housekeeping issues
- Liaising with guests on holiday, with the ability to deal and resolve any potential problems that may arise.
- To work closely with the Director, Office Manager and communicate effectively with all members of CSVC staff and third party contractors.

**You will bring**:

- Experience within hospitality or lettings sector.
- Practical experience of working in a housekeeping team/cleaning environment (essential)
- A practical and confident approach to problem solving
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with an attention to detail
- Good customer service skills
- The ability to prioritise and escalate when and where necessary
- A flexible and practical hands on approach to daily tasks
- The ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Computer skills and be IT literate

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
