**About the role**

This is a great opportunity for an assistant to join our Supporter Care Team at a dynamic international development charity based in Bath. Working in partnership with experienced and committed African staff and Trustees, with support from the UK and US, and most importantly, with farming families in Africa to learn more, grow more and sell more. It starts on an African farm and creates a ripple effect that helps build a confident, thriving and sustainable rural Africa.

During the festive season, Ripple Effect experiences a surge in activity as we engage in our Christmas fundraising activities, featuring our popular Christmas gift catalogue and online gift site. As a member of the Supporter Care Team, you will ensure we provide the appropriate support and excellent customer service to our supporters during this peak period. You will actively participate in various tasks, including efficiently processing and dispatching supporters' gift orders, batching data and income to our database, opening post, and maintaining essential supporter records.

Key responsibilities include:

- Data processing and record keeping
- Managing and sorting incoming/outgoing post
- Fulfilling gift orders and gift room organisation
- Inventory management
- Fundraising best practice and charity law compliance
- Administrative support to wider team

**About you**

As a Seasonal Data and Fulfilment Assistant, you will have administration experience and a desire to work effectively as part of a team within a busy and active working environment.

You will also have the following (but not limited to) experience, skills and attributes:

- Experience with data entry and using computer systems
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective time management, capable of prioritising and managing a full workload within specified timeframes.
- Strong teamwork skills, while also being self-motivated and independent when required.
- Quick learner, able to perform assigned tasks confidently and competently.
- Ability to work with high quantities of data.
- Efficient, methodical, and precise in handling tasks.
- Positive "can-do" attitude, displaying a willingness to take on challenges.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying work demands.

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
