We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join us in Warrington. This is a key position for us as we look to implement our exciting growth plans across the UK & Ireland and provides a great opportunity for an ambitious and collaborative individual to develop and progress their career.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with the Commercial Finance team and operational business units to oversee business performance, budgeting, and forecasting for the Energy and Buildings business lines. Actively participating in operational management teams, you will extend financial support to Project Managers and Project Controllers.

Your responsibilities include developing comprehensive management reporting and analysis to enhance transparency and engage in discussions with the business to improve key performance aspects such as growth, profitability, and cash generation. Additionally, you will craft concise commentaries and variance analyses on operating financial performance.

To maintain a high standard of commercial and project management, you will work closely with the business, ensuring consistency of approach critical for financial reporting and planning processes. Collaboration with Project Accountants (PAs) is pivotal, involving assistance in coordinating their monthly project review cycle and analysing project financial performance to identify challenges and solutions.

You will champion a culture of continuous improvement and lean management, optimising key business processes, roles, controls, and technology.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) who has extensive experience improving controls, processes, and procedures in hands on, roll up your sleeves manner. You will have a successful track record of working in a similar large corporate environment.

You will be an operationally and commercially minded qualified individual with strong experience in a professional services environment. You will be capable of high-level strategic thinking whilst also being able to roll up their sleeves when required to ensure smooth operation of key business processes across a diverse business portfolio. Good leadership skills, and ability to communicate clearly at different levels of the business are essential.

You will be strategic, change orientated, innovative, always seeking to improve. You will enjoy a dynamic and fast paced environment, working with high energy and resilience.
