Film and Event Crew

Active and enthusiastic crew required for a busy hire company working in marquee and equipment hire across film, tv and events.

You will have a varied role, with opportunities to work behind the scenes on the sets of high-profile film + TV productions across the North-West, as well as supporting our wedding and event marquee teams at beautiful venues in the area.

Your role will include;
- Construction and installation of a range of marquees, including clearspan tents, tension tents, event tipis and event domes.
- Installation of internal kit and facilities, such as lighting, furniture, heating etc.
- Pick and Pack
- Load and Unload
- Driving duties

Driving and warehouse duties are also part of this role, so a driving license is a must. _**You will need to have transport to get to our rural base easily for your shift starts.**_

**Shifts, Availability, Rates**

Shifts will vary dramatically in length from half days to multi-day builds, so you will need to be flexible and have stamina in store for when it is needed. Some film work takes place on weekends or evenings, with higher pay rates.

Initial freelance work will be available throughout May, June, July, Aug, Sep with opportunities for extension over winter for crew who demonstrate ability and reliability, with special events taking place over Christmas.

Rates and rate types vary between film and event work. Base rate applies for event jobs, increasing to higher rates for film shifts.

**Salary**: £11.00-£15.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

This is mostly outdoor work.
