Smart Meter Trainer

At Lowri Beck (part of the Calisen group) we are currently recruiting for a Smart Meter Trainer & Assessor to join our Training team based at our dedicated training academy in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan. This an amazing opportunity to learn new skills and gain the trainer and assessor qualifications.

The successful applicant will design, develop, and deliver new starter, refresher & upskill training courses/modules to Lowri Beck Trainees, in line with business requirements. This will include the delivery of Dual Fuel (Gas & Power (including three phase), EV, and any other required training such as inductions and general training modules. The Trainer will complete assessments on Trainees to ensure that set and agreed competency standards are met before the Trainees can ‘go live’ into the field.

**What you will receive**
- £38,606.05 salary (salaried will be reviewed once trainer and assessor qualifications have been gained)
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (40hrs)

**What we are looking for**
- Level 2 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent) & or Single or Dual Fuel (Power and Gas)
- Qualified holding current CMA3 & MET1
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and administrational skills
- No unspent criminal convictions (must pass a basic DBS)
- Proven eligibility to work in the UK

**You must be willing to work towards...**
- EV related Qualifications (including 18th edition, test & inspect)
- Current MOCOPA standard authorisation
- PTLLS qualification
- Assessor Qualification
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification
