London, United Kingdom Thrive Tribe Full time

**Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive**

At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier

We are looking for a **Stop Smoking Advisor** (full-time, fixed term contract until 31st October 2024) to join our One You Stop Smoking Service in London.

One You Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea provide high quality and evidence-based information, advice and interventions to help people change unhealthy behaviours. We run Stop Smoking Service as well as Adult Weight Management and Physical Activity courses in both boroughs.

Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

A typical day as a **Stop Smoking Advisor** might include:
Delivering evidence-based interventions that focus on smoking cessation, behaviour change, and psychological support to save lives by helping smokers quit for good.

Running stop smoking clinics by working with clients on a one-to-one basis over the phone and in person.

Working with partner organisations to create referral routes and meet targets.

Ensuring an excellent and safe experience for residents using our policies and procedures.

Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments - we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources

Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance.

Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values

Typically, the stop smoking programme consists of 6 sessions, over a 6-week period.

**About you...**

More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart into their work. We’ve got some core values that run through everything we do, and we’d love it if they resonate with you too

**Be the change**

You like helping people. You’ll be working with those who need help the most, empowering them to make positive changes to thrive.

**Be effective**

You’re patient and can adapt under pressure. Always happy to make time for other people. And have a great attitude.

**Be happy**

You recognise the power of a smile. You value a fun, supportive workplace and want to come to work raring to go (check out our rating on Glassdoor).

**Be successful**

You are motivated and driven. Happy working solo or as part of a team, you love meeting targets. And will be given opportunities to contribute and develop your career.

**Be big-hearted**

You want to make a difference. Working with a like-minded team of optimistic people, we want the same thing to do meaningful work and change lives.

To work with us in this role you will need to:
Have some delivery experience of supporting clients to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Be adaptable to changes and be innovative to meet targets.

Be open to training and developments (there is a requirement to acquire the Level 2 NCSCT Stop Smoking Practitioner accreditation for this role
- training will be provided). If you are already a level 2 trained Stop Smoking Advisor that would be a bonus.

Be a non-smoker or ex-smoker.

Effectively use our digital systems, including the service database for all client management.

Work with the wider One You Teams to assist with the delivery of service marketing campaigns.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Be ready to get involved with other tasks, projects or initiatives relevant to the role or the service delegated by Coordinators.

However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you
