Our reputable waste management client is seeking a dedicated and motivated Refuse Collector to join our team.

Position: Refuse Collector Location: Carlisle, Cumbria Hours: Monday to Friday - 37 hours a Week

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect and empty trash bins from residential and commercial areas following a designated route.
- Operate garbage trucks and related equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and tidiness during trash collection operations.
- Interact professionally and courteously with residents and business owners while addressing any waste-related inquiries.
- Report any issues or incidents to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely trash collection and adherence to schedules.
- Previous experience in waste management or similar work is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
