**Position Summary**:
The community Care Assistant will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in the community. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily living activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. Your empathetic approach, strong communication skills, and commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for those under our care. **Personal Care**: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, while respecting the dignity and privacy of each client.
**Medication Support**: Administer medications as prescribed and ensure clients are following their medication schedules accurately.
**Meal Preparation**: Prepare nutritious meals and ensure clients' dietary requirements are met, while considering their preferences and restrictions.
**Mobility Assistance**: Assist clients with mobility needs, including transfers, walking, and the use of mobility aids, while prioritizing their safety.
**Companionship**: Engage in friendly conversations, provide emotional support, and participate in recreational activities to enhance clients' well-being.
**Household Support**: Help with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment.
**Transportation**: Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities as required, ensuring their comfort and safety.
**Health Monitoring**: Keep track of clients' health conditions, report any changes to the supervisor, and follow care plans accurately.
**Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, observations, and any incidents, following proper protocols.
**Communication**: Collaborate with clients' families, healthcare professionals, and the care team to ensure seamless care coordination.
**Promote Independence**: Encourage and support clients in carrying out tasks they are capable of doing independently, fostering their autonomy.
**Emergency Response**: Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or sudden health changes, seeking assistance when needed.
**Professional Development**: Stay updated with training, certifications, and best practices in domiciliary care to provide the highest level of care.
**Adherence to Policies**: Follow organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines in providing safe and effective care to clients.
**Ethical Standards**: Uphold the highest ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and treating clients with respect and empathy.

**Salary**: £11.00-£20.00 per hour
