We have a new opportunity for a Flow Controller to join us on a resident client site close to East Midlands Airport. The Flow Controller forms part of our site maintenance team and is responsible for carrying out the first-line response to systems faults on Dematic installed automated materials handling systems.

This involves the use of human-machine interfaces and control systems to ensure that materials keep flowing through the conveyors. Those with experience in using mechanical / electrically operated machinery, within a production or warehouse environment, would complement this position.

The opportunity is immediately available on a permanent basis and will follow a set shift pattern, which involves days and nights.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line response to the installed materials handling equipment system faults- Complete the relevant faults logs- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.- Ensure the quality of output is maintained at all times- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities that further support our customer- To complete weekly timesheets- Participate in other PPM activities on site and support the maintenance team

Knowledge & Experience:
- A basic understanding of mechanical / electrically operated machinery- Previous experience of working in a warehouse or production environment- Minimum standards of innumeracy and literacy- Ability to work at heights- Willingness to learn and further your knowledge
