**Job summary**:
Wattisham Flying Station (WFS) is the Main Operating Base of the Army's Attack Helicopters (AH); and resides under Joint Helicopter Command (JHC) JHC is a quad-service organisation uniting battlefield military helicopters of the British Armed Forces for command & coordination purposes. WFS is large airfield site, the Station provides the "home" for elements of 1 Aviation Brigade Attack, 7 Close Support Battalion REME, 3 and 4 Regiments Army Air Corps and other lodger units.

We are looking for a pro-active individual to support and assistant the Welfare Co-ord (EO) with the day to day running of a lively Welfare and Information Support Centre (WISC) and various community facilities within WFS. Helping to support serving personnel and their families and keeping them updated as to who the welfare team individuals are.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:

- To record bookings and ensure completion of the booking paperwork for the Conference Room, Community Centre, and Contact House as and when they arise.
- To handle cash and cheque payments, issue receipts and when necessary secure in a lockable device.
- Ensure customers can collect/receive keys by making arrangements for collection at WISC or by advising personnel of key access requirements at the Main Gate.
- Report any building faults including those for the Community Centre, Contact House and Welfare and ensure the repairs are carried out.
- Provide administrative and active support to the Welfare Co-Ordinator for community events.
- Mail delivery and collection for WISC.
- Coordinate all welfare related forms and help with their completion when needed.
- Order and maintain stationery stock from the Stn Quarter Master.
- Driving tasks when required.
- Update WFS family media sites of pending events and relevant information.
- Other clerical duties as appropriate.
