Job title - Bricklayer

Hours - Full time, Monday-Friday (half day Friday)

Location - Newtownabbey area

We are seeking a skilled and experienced bricklayer to join our team of builders to work on a residential housing development in the Newtownabbey area. As a bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures using bricks, blocks, and other materials. Your primary duties will include:

- General bricklaying duties.
- Laying bricks or blocks in rows, patterns, or designs, ensuring structural integrity and alignment.
- Cutting or shaping bricks, blocks, or stones using hand or power tools as necessary.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhering to building codes, regulations, and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborating with other team members, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to complete projects efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a bricklayer, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Certification or accreditation in bricklaying or relevant field is preferred.

**Salary**: £120.00-£150.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
