Tig Welder/fabricator

We are looking for a TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our friendly, hard-working team within our Rail & Fabrication Division. Only applicants with relevant experience will be considered for interview.

The successful applicant will be expected to adhere to our strict health & safety policies, along with our other policies in keeping with our ISO:9001 certification (i.e. completion of paperwork).

The successful applicant is expected to work as part of a small team but have the ability to manage their own workload and carry out sitework if required. They should also be prepared to carry out other work as required by the company.

The role is based in Audenshaw and requires you to work 40 hours per week (7.30am-4.00pm Mon -Thu & 7.30am-1.30pm Fri). These hours include a 20 minute paid lunch break per day.

Employees are entitled to 20 paid holidays per year (pro-rata) plus bank holidays.

Hourly rate starts at £15.00 per hour depending on experience and overtime is paid at hourly rate plus one half. A reasonable amount of overtime is expected but may be unsocial depending on customer requirement.

The successful applicant will be expected to work a 13-week probationary period.

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and have a high standard of verbal and written English.
