Night Porter

Walwick Hall Country Estate is located near Humshaugh, Hexham, on the Old Military Road in Northumberland. It combines a Grade II-listed country house Hotel with seven luxury self-catering Stable Suites, a purpose-built Spa and leisure facility, and a range of dining options to both residents and non-residents.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Night Porter to join our growing team, working 3-4 nights per week. As part of the role, the successful applicant will be the proud face of Walwick Hall and will therefore be expected to have excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all evening guests receive a warm, memorable and personalised welcome, attending to the needs of its guests overnight, and carrying out light cleaning, laundry, and bar duties.

Knowledge, experience and skills required:

- Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
- Ability to work under pressure but maintain high standards.
- Enthusiastic towards work and providing guests with assistance.
- Must be able to work weekend shifts.
- Must be able to work both as part of a team and on your own in a busy environment.
- Due to our location and the requirement to work shifts, a driving license and own transport is essential.
