**Job Title**:Area Supervisor (Mobile)

**Responsible to**: Assistant Operations Manager

**Location**: (Central Region)

**About The Role**

Due to our continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Area Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to join our team providing cleaning services to a prestigious Professional Services client.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- A proactive approach and an excellent eye for detail, methodical and organised
- Self-motivated, confident, and an engaging approachable manner with a ‘can do’ flexible attitude to work requirements
- Excellent client focus and a proven track record of service delivery in facilities management or contract cleaning environment
- Team player and able to motivate others

**Hours of Work**:
Normal working hours will be between 06.00 am - 20.00 am Flexible (8 hours) Monday-Friday

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- **You will cover Provide cover for absence, sickness & holidays**

**in the absence of operatives within your area of responsibility as directed by the Assistant Operations Manager.**
- Cleaning of sites based on agreed specification
- Training of site-based staff, including completion of inductions
- Completion of audits
- Building and maintaining positive site-level client relationships
- Provision of information to Placemakers relating to their role (clocking in details, cleaning spec. etc.)
- Ensuring health & safety legislation is always followed.
- Responding to ad hoc requests from the Operational Management team
- Escalating any concerns or site-level intelligence to the Operations Manager
- Completing stock checks and following the agreed process for ordering
- Effective collaboration with the Operational Management team
- Provide holiday cover

**Health & Safety & Compliance**
- Understand and comply with all relevant current legislation as set out in Company policies and procedures and related documentation, including the Employee Terms and Conditions Handbook, Employee Health, Safety and Environmental Handbook, and Security procedures.
- Responsible for the Safety & Wellbeing of all employees in line with the Company

Health& Safety & Wellbeing policies.
- Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Report all accidents and near misses. Ensuring all accident reporting procedures are followed.
- Digital site files are reviewed and including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and COSHH Assessments, and any amendments or updates are notified to the Operational Management Team responsible for the site.
- Create and Maintain a Healthy, Safe, and Secure Environment

**Quality Standards**
- Ensure consistent and high-level service delivery. Continually review processes/ working practices and actively encourage an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Attend regular team meetings with your LM and SHKA to ensure SLA’s to identify solutions and service excellence in line with contractual standards
- Ensure regular joint audits on standards and due diligence with your line manager/senior housekeeping associate are conducted.
- Maintaining cleaning and hygiene rules & regulations in line with company procedures
- Ensure the image of the contract reflects the professional image of the company
- Maintaining standards of dress and behaviours of the employees under your control.

**P&C/Training**
- Ensure that all employees are appropriately inducted, trained, and developed. This responsibility includes the identification of training needs and implementation of the company training requirements & mandatory training programmes including monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of that training.
