Are you an experienced filmmaker looking for a new challenge? Are you excited about sharing your knowledge and experience with the next generation of students? Have you always wanted to live and work within an area of natural beauty and vibrant culture, and a fantastic creative community?

Working at our dedicated Arts & Media Campus, you will be involved in supporting our learners on our wide range of film projects, often working closely with Kendal's outstanding arts organisations - and festivals such as the Brewery Arts Centre, Lakes International Comic Art Festival, and Kendal Mountain Festival.

Our Film Production students have progressed to leading film schools and self-employment. Many are currently working on National and International film sets, and the department has a positive national reputation with very strong industry links and opportunities.

Teaching experience is desirable, but we are looking for someone with the confidence to share their experience and knowledge with our students - we would provide support for gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us. We are particularly looking for a film professional with camera and lighting experience.

**What we're looking for**:
**Qualifications**
- Essential_
- A recognised teaching qualification or be willing to obtain within 2 years of appointment.
- Level 3 vocational qualification.
- English and Maths at level 2 (GCSE grade 4 (C) or equivalent).
- Desirable_
- A degree or equivalent qualification in the related discipline.

**Experience**
- Essential_
- Experience working in a relevant industrial/commercial environment.
- Proficient experience, skills and knowledge in chosen specialism - especially in camera and lighting.
- Desirable_
- Recent experience teaching in an FE/HE environment.
