**Vehicle Assessor**

**Role Purpose**:
As a Vehicle Assessor at 4th Dimension, you will play a crucial role in the initial assessment of all motorcycles received by our company. Your primary responsibility will be to determine whether bikes are viable for repair within budget constraints or deemed beyond economical repair. The decisions made during triage will significantly impact our clients' claim journey, underscoring the importance of accuracy in your assessments.

**Accountability**:
As the Triage Estimator, you will be accountable for evaluating the suitability of motorcycles for repair. In cases of uncertainty, you are authorized to seek guidance from management to ensure accurate decision-making.

**Authority Levels**:
You will have the authority to determine whether inbound motorcycles are likely to be repaired, thereby deciding if they should be handed over to our internal estimating department.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct visual inspections of all inbound motorcycles.
- Communicate with clients for various purposes, including assessing related damage, confirming incident circumstances, promoting our repair services, or guiding clients through the claim journey.
- Conduct theft investigations for our internal theft and validation team.
- Compile and send reports to the internal engineering department and insurance companies.
- Generate basic estimates using manufacturer Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPCs) when necessary.
- Complete motorcycle condition reports as applicable.
- Accurately establish pre-incident values of inbound vehicles.

**Other duties include, but are not restricted to**:
Flexibility is essential in this role, and you may be required to assist other departments within the company as needed.

**Knowledge and Experience**:
This role requires a strong understanding of motorcycle makes and models, with experience working in a technical capacity within the motorcycle industry considered advantageous. Regular client interaction necessitates a polite, confident, and professional telephone manner. The following skill sets are required:
